兰卡斯特华贤社周日学校，欢迎各界参加本社汉语课程，探索语言背后的优良文化。无论任何家庭背景，华贤社为大家提供中文课程与各项的文娱活动， 儿童年龄由四岁至成年人 。 提供一个丰富而有有趣的经验，为所有社群争取有关的课程，由专业导师授课中文汉语， 课程与各项文化课外活动。 The Hua Xian Lancaster Chinese School provides classes and activities for everyone from children as young as 4 to adults. Students from any background are welcome to learn Mandarin and discover the fascinating culture behind the language. The School is run by dedicated tutors who are native speakers teaching Chinese language and culture alongside extra curricular activities to offer an enriching and fun experience for all pupils.

Children from non-English speaking countries can recieve support through our English Support classes. Our tutors use bi-lingualism to help them gain confidence in conversational English and also help them better understand their studies at school.

We hold regular ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes in Lancaster and Morecambe. This is aimed at supporting migrant families who are now residing in the UK – helping them reduce language barriers, live independently and fully participate in British Society.

As part of our Business Support Network project, this course is aimed at helping individuals improve their employment opportunities with accredited qualifications and also help businesses be better informed of ever-changing standards in food hygiene. Courses are held throughout the year, if you are interested in enrolling in the next available course, please contact us and book a place.

We host a weekly community cafe at the Lancaster Boys and Girls Club - a friendly place to grab a warm drink and a tasty bite made by our volunteers.

Stay active with taichi that combine gentle physical and mental exercises to improve your balance, flexibility and support a healthy mind. Join our group to practice together or learn new techniques and try them at home.

Explore classical Chinese music through instruments like the Guzheng, Erhu, Pipa, Dizi, Ruan, Gu and more. Open to all skill levels, join us to learn, perform, rehearse or just enjoy socialising over music.

We work with local schools, libraries and organisations to create engaging and educational experiences for children and adults exploring music, crafts, calligraphy and theatre.

Our volunteers are available to help individuals and families who require translation or guidance when accessing public services - such as doctors and hospital visits, local government services or even reporting crime.

We work alongside local agencies and charities who feel their services can benefit the Chinese community and we help translate their literature into simple easy-to-understand accessible formats.

We regularly organise day trips for the local community and is open to all and we make it affordable thanks to the support by our sponsors.
